Support for 宗卡ཙོང་ཁ
Operator: Very Sports (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd. Android package: com.zongka.keyboard; iOS app: com.zongka.keyboard; keyboard extension: com.zongka.keyboard.keyboard. Contact support or send privacy requests to hang1915581435@gmail.com.
For troubleshooting, include the app version, device model, Android / iOS version, and steps to reproduce the issue. Redact personal information from screenshots. Never send passwords, verification codes, or access tokens.
- Enable the keyboard in Android language/input settings, then select it as your input method.
- Basic Tibetan typing and Wylie transliteration work locally without an account. Online features require internet access; some also require login.
- For missing email codes, check the address and spam folder, then retry after the countdown.
- For voice or camera features, check connectivity and the relevant Android permissions. Denying these permissions does not prevent basic typing.
iOS setup and troubleshooting
- Open the companion app and complete its guide. In iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard, select 宗卡 / ཙོང་ཁ (Zongkha).
- Long-press the globe in a text field to switch keyboards. Basic Tibetan typing and Wylie transliteration do not require an account or Allow Full Access.
- Enable Allow Full Access in that keyboard's settings only when needed for online keyboard tools or shared settings and dictionaries. It is optional for basic input and does not replace permission to send content to third parties.
Without Full Access, dictionaries use extension-private storage; with it, shared storage is used. Entries are not automatically merged when you change permission. Do not clear a dictionary merely because entries appear different.
Keyboard buttons for voice, OCR, dictionary management or account settings show a prompt rather than launch the companion app. Open Zongkha manually from your Home Screen and return using the app switcher. Voice needs microphone permission and internet, with recordings limited to approximately 20 seconds. OCR needs camera or selected-photo access; confirming a crop uploads the selected image for recognition. Manage permissions in iOS Settings → Apps → Zongkha (or the app's settings on older iOS versions).
iOS uses its system keyboard in secure password fields, and some apps restrict third-party keyboards. Test in a normal text field such as Notes first. See Apple's custom keyboard documentation.
In the companion app's Other Settings, cloud backup needs login and separate permission. Back up, restore or delete the cloud copy there; disabling backup does not remove an existing cloud copy. Usage Statistics covers companion-app activity only, not typed content, and can be declined or withdrawn. Reopen the companion app online to retry an offline withdrawal.
Use Delete account in Other Settings, verify your email and confirm deletion; clearing the local personal dictionary is optional. Signing out, removing the keyboard, revoking Full Access or uninstalling does not delete the server account. Offload App retains app data; account deletion does not guarantee removal of every local audio/image file or external-provider record.
Read our Privacy Policy. To delete your account and associated data, use the account deletion page and complete email verification. Visiting that page does not delete anything.
To request deletion of specific data without deleting your account, email support and describe the data concerned. Retention exceptions and local file handling are explained in the privacy policy and account deletion page.
